{"id":1191,"date":"2018-10-18T07:20:17","date_gmt":"2018-10-18T07:20:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/armedin.am\/?page_id=1191\/"},"modified":"2018-10-31T07:06:53","modified_gmt":"2018-10-31T07:06:53","slug":"applicant","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/armedin.am\/en\/applicant\/","title":{"rendered":"Applicant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>ADMISSION OF STUDENTS TO THE ARMENIAN MEDICAL INSTITUTE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Admission of applicants to the AMI is carried out in accordance with the \u201cAdmission Procedure to State and Non-State Higher Educational Institutions\u201d approved by the relevant decree of the RA Government.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 Applicants take unified, centralized examinations for the AMI admission. Applicants are given the right to take unified (entrance) examinations in two of three subjects (based on applicant\u2019s choice): \u201cPhysics\u201d (written), \u201cChemistry\u201d (written), \u201cBiology\u201d (written), and \u201cArmenian language\u201d as a non-competitive subject. Examinations are arranged and conducted by the Assessment and Testing Center, which was established by the RA Government. The admission to AMI is organized based on the results of unified republican examinations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Armenian Medical Institute annually announces admission for the academic year to the following faculties:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00ab091201.00.7\u00bb General Medicine, the qualification of MD Physician<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00ab091101.00.7\u00bb Stomatology, the qualification of Doctor of Stomatology<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The duration of study in the faculty of \u201cGeneral Medicine\u201d is 6 years; in the faculty of \u201cStomatology\u201d is 5 years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Applicants to AMI can be both RA citizens and foreign citizens who have secondary (full) or secondary professional education, without age restriction.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0The results of the entrance examinations are approved by the decision of the State Admission Committee in accordance with the \u201cAdmission Procedure to State Higher Educational Institutions\u201d approved by the RA Government in 2012.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Required documents:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Application (filled in right in the Institute).<\/li>\n<li>Graduates of previous years present the diploma together with the application from May 5 to June 1.
